A breath of fresh air! I needed a new gynecologist and for my next appointment I needed to get my IUD mirena out after having it in for 5 yrs and just not really needing it anymore. So I tried looking at ratings and unfortunately Alexys didnt have many, so I was a little nervous. But there was no need to worry with her! Wow! I can easily say she has become my new favorite gynecologist! She really is a breath of fresh air in comparison to others Ive had. She is young, but very knowledgeable and skillful, she actually had a student following her for my appointment! Alexys is very kind, goes at your pace, can read the room and a patient very well, and asked multiple times if I had any questions or concerns. And I really wasn't planning on getting another form of birth control anytime soon, but I know eventually I will again and I think she had a hunch about that too, so she asked if I just wanted to take an informational packet home explaining the different birth control options and wow! I didnt know I needed that, but she provided and after reading it, I am glad I took it! It has so much vital, right-to-the-point in easy to read charts and sections all in a short packet! No need to research what always ends up being a whole school presentation to find my next form of BC! Thank you Dr. Hunzeker! Loved my visit with you and I look forward to my annual check up!
