Went for yearly physical. He immediately attempted to change that BP med I have been taking for over 2 decades. I refused to have it changed - it has always controlled my BP. He said that my cholesterol and lipids were high and needed controlled and i needed another BP drug. The atenolol I take can be used with either cholesterol or lipid drugs. He didn't offer this option. My cholesterol and lipids have been constantly the same for over 20 years and the 2 doctors that I had during that time advised there wasn't any need for medications. Had to take a cognitive test or he wouldn't complete physical He is the one who should have to take the test. Asked for prescription in had several times and didn't get it. Want to know why. When if filled the Atenolol prescription later it was of 90 days. Every time in the last 2 decades it had it filled it was for a year. Wanted me to come back in 2 weeks for blood work. Padding the insurance. I had fasted and had to make the draw the blood. I then cancelled the rest of the tests that were scheduled and left the office Watch out of this guy. I will not go back. Lost trust in him 5 minutes into the appt. Yes folks, a 90 day prescription for a yearly physical.
