I had two visits with this doctor and I do not recommend! Unprofessional, Rude, Egotistical, and selfish doctor. Very disappointing. I did two visits to balance my experience with her and give another opportunity. I did not think it was possible but the second visit was worse than the first.
This doctor seems to not be confident enough in her ability or knowledge, so much so that she hung up on our second video appointment because I had questions on the inaccurate information she spit out during our first visit.
She could not answer questions directly. She took my questions and concerns about my health as personal attack and was offended that I even had questions. Doctor Sanders also spit out many inaccuracies and was offended when I asked if she had any experience treating the condition I have. She spoke to me as if I was beneath her and would not answer if she had treated the conditionillness before. Finally, she spit out that she had treated 12 patients for this. If she had treated 12 patients, she should be a little more confident, excited and not combative. It was a very odd and dissatisfying experience.
Furthermore, Dr. Sanders was a poor listener, cut me off while explaining when symptoms and even busted out laughing during an assessment on our first visit. I feel everyone deserves a 2nd chance however, I did not realize how disgusting of a doctor she was until the second visit. Typically you would see a doctor give the script for 14-15 days but on the second visit She would not fill a prescription that she issued just for 7 days, Dr. Sanders hung up our call without refilling the prescription and I had to go without treatment for a day and wait another day to see a capable doctor. One of the very clear things about my condition is that it is highly recommended to take your medications. Dr. Sanders prevented that from happening. Not her first time denying medications or not calling in prescriptions. I could see if they were controlled substances but they were not.
If you do a quick internet search on Dr. Kyauna Sharae Sanders you will find that I am not alone in my dissatisfaction. She promotes herself on social media as someone for healing, empowerment, wellness, joy, and as an empath among other things. She seems to be for none of these, a liar and incompetent based on my two visits with her. I should have done a bit of research on her before booking but no one should ever expect to have to deal with a a doctor like that. They are supposed to help and ease. She is an example of the reason some people dont trust doctors.
I had to take some time out of my day to leave a review because I want to give a warning to anyone who might come across this site looking for insight on what Dr. Kyuana Sanders is about. She may have earned the right to be called a doctor because she holds a doctorate but I am unsure she is a qualified practitioner of medicine.
