I saw Dr Dryden for the first time in June 2021. I had never seen him before. He walked into the room, did not introduce himself, sat down and said, Why are you here to see me. He did not take 30 seconds to at least glance at my chart. After telling him I was there for my annual wellness check he asked if I had any questions. I asked him if he knew anything about a Factor V Liden test for blood clotting and if I could possible get one because my sister and brother had the test and it showed they were susceptible to the abnormal blood clotting. He told me he was not familiar with the test but felt I did not need one. I then asked if he knew anything about steam treatment for enlarged prostate. He said he did not and that was it. Then with a very audible sigh he got up from his stool and checked my heart with his stethoscope for at least 5 seconds. He did not ask me to breath deep. He then asked if I had any more questions as he headed for the door. I knew right then I was wasting his time. I was with him for at the most 15 minutes.

I went to see Doctor Dryden for the first time as a new patient in mid March 2021. I told him my symptoms at that time which included bloody stools, constipation, large amounts of weight loss, a family history of colon cancer. He told me he would put in a referral for a colonoscopy and someone would reach out to me. Almost 4 weeks later and no call for the colonoscopy and also my symptoms had worsened. I went to see him again and on the second visit, he said very little and spent most of the time staring at the computer screen and told me I need to be patient as they are backed up with colonoscopy. He gave me some anti anxiety pills and that was it. He seemed more interested in telling me to be patient than calling up and asking why I had not been scheduled. That night, I was admitted to the hospital with a perforated colon and rectal cancer. After my release from the hospital I received a call Providence asking about my stay. I told them about the scheduling issue and they told me there is a general issue and they should have called me along time ago but there are problems with the employees and its not that backed up. Why this doctor did not call and find out about getting me in after 1 month, I have no idea, but I ended up with 7 nights in the hospital and almost died. I do not recommend this doctor for any medical treatments.
