I do not have a problem with Dr. Beauerle himself but I do have a serious problem with his office staff. The problem is so bad that I am going to go to another doctor for my scheduled colonoscopies.
I had a terrible time 2 years ago trying to get my procedure scheduled. I suffered thru the many attempts and phone calls to finally get scheduled.
This past few months I have been trying to get my husband scheduled for his procedure. I began this process in February, waiting for Charlette to call us to do a questionnaire and make an appointment. On March 3rd I called again and talked to Fran who was going to ask Charlette to return my call.
On March 7th, I did receive the questionnaire in the mail, no phone call at this point. I filled out the forms and mailed them to the office the next day.
On March 29th I called the office and spoke to Casshea. After explaining the situation she promptly told me my form has been lost in the mail, didn't realize that she was also a USPS employee! She said she would send Charlette a note to call, as she is the only person who can do her job. I asked to speak to the office Mgr.
I was transferred to Ivan and immediately cut off. I called back and Casshea promptly got me connected to Ivan. He explained the call back process that when Charlette calls and gets vms your paperwork goes to the bottom of the stack. When you return her call you cannot be connected to her, only leaving a msg with whomever answers the phone, aka Casshea.
Ivan told me he will send a note to Charlette to put us at the top of the stack and return my call that day, as I told him I would be home all day. This was on Tuesday, March 29th. As you can expect, I received no phone call on that day, nor the next day 330 nor the next 331.
I am calling my PCP and asking for a referral to another Dr tomorrow. I hate to do that because I really like Dr. Beauerle but if I cannot even get an appointment for a simple colonoscopy I sure don't want to depend on his staff for an appointment for a more serious issue. What a shame.
