I advise people to avoid Dr. Weng. She takes no personal interest in her patients, is too young and inexperienced to handle anything herself, and has serious problems understanding patients due to English being her second language. I tried to work with her for over a year but was not receiving any forward progress into finding out why I developed degenerative bone disease and needed so many surgeries for my relatively young age, including 2 hip replacement surgeries by age 39. The only thing she ever did was keep-up my sleep and blood pressure meds. as prescribed by my previous doctor. Aside from that she tried to pawn me off on pain management clinics. Even though I was not requesting any pain management but was looking for a more thorough understanding and diagnoses of my condition. Even requesting x-rays and scans several times which were only ordered once then ignored. When I finally agreed to go to one of her clinics, it was so disgusting that my wife and I left within 10 minutes of being in the room. Before seeing the doctor but after taking pictures for the report we filed with the state health department. Immediately after leaving I called and sent an e-mail with the pictures to Dr. Weng. The next day her nurse called me back. I told her about the issue, and she already had another referral to a different pain management clinic Dr. Weng wanted me to go to. I refused, telling the nurse that I would not go to another pain management clinic because all I wanted was information and treatment.., not pills. We set up time on my next visit a couple weeks later so Dr. Weng and I could talk about moving forward on the diagnoses instead of just trying to mask the problem with drugs. At the appointment, the first thing she did was accuse me of leaving the clinic because I didn't want to take a drug test, going by the word of the clinic alone. A clinic with about 6 employees, no pages available to leave reviews about their clinic and no pages or profiles available to leave to view reviews about the 1 doctor they have. She was corrected on what actually happened, shown the pictures of the clinic and offered a copy of the health dept. report. As she sat rolling her eyes and cutting me off every time I started to speak. Afterwards, I told her she would not be my doctor anymore. She said she would refer me to another place but I refused. Saying that the last place she sent me to turned out to be a drug den that couldn't keep their floors clean or the cobwebs off the windows, and that I would handle finding a new doctor. A couple days later she sent a snotty letter saying she was dismissing me from her care. As if the you're not my doctor anymore didn't get through that little head of hers. If not apparent by the review, she is basically to childish, inexperienced and disinterested in her job to be an effective primary care physician. As a parting retaliation for being dismissed as my PCP, Dr. Weng cut medications that are dangerous to stop suddenly. Completely disregarding the required 30-day bridge in necessary meds out of malicious retaliation for being fired as my PCP. When I called for an advocate, I was directed to the personnel manager of ELFP. Who refused to handle any complaint against their staff and professed to be completely impotent in the ability to do so even if she did want to do her job. She actually wanted to play the childish game of who dismissed who, even though it was clearly stated in Dr. Weng hissy fit of a letter that I dismissed her as my PCP, and did everything possible to turn the conversation into a childish back and forth to distract from the problem. So, it turns out the staff here is just as childish and petty as the doctors. Since they openly refused to even take the complaint of retaliation by Dr. Weng Im forced to look into a malpractice claim against Dr. Weng and ELFP for their poor behavior.
