Terrible experience and will never go back. I scheduled an appointment which required blood work, and let the office know this would require blood work. The doctor hadnt ever worked with my condition before, but navigated it and left to send the nurse in to do blood work. Right before the nurse is about to poke me I ask if I needed to fast, to which she replies well did you? I let her know I didnt eat and only drank coffee with sugar-free almond milk, and she says oh you cant have this blood work because you had sugar and didnt fast. I let her know the almond milk didnt have sugar in it, then she goes to the next room to ask the doctor her thoughts. The walls are paper thin here and I could hear the conversation, and she said he had coffee with almond milk. She did not specify sugar-free. She then comes in and says I cant do the blood work. I asked if she said the almond milk was sugar-free and she LIED and said yes. She then gives me the blood work paperwork and tells me to go to LabCorp some other day when I fast.
You would think the doctor, Mandeep Singh, might come back in and validateverify with the patient about their fasting before sending them away.
What a mess and waste of time! They should have directed a patient coming in for blood work to fast, or not, should have validated the fasting status before drawing blood, and then should not have lied about communication with the doctor. The place is an operational mess.
I am not paying for this service because I was not treated for what I came in for and might have even been discriminated against because Im LGBT.
