I have never written a bad review on a physician before. My appointment with Dr. Faraz Haque was at 12:20 p.m. at 12:00 I called dully I was on hold for over 20 minutes when they answered I told them I will be about 15 minutes late. They said theres a 15 minute grace period so if I get there before then I can still see the doctor. I showed up at 12.33 only 13 minutes late. Jordan, the front desk lady said let me go ask the nurse... I said ask her what? So she came back and said the nurse is saying the doctor is unable to see you because youre late. I explained that I have two toddler boys. I had to take them potty, change their clothes, get their ipads, and being during lunch time I had to make lunch for them and bring lunch with me... it took me over 2 hours just to leave the house and I had to drive another 45 minutes and Im not even past the 15 minute grace period. She said, you could be even one minute late and the doctor may say he doesn't want to see you. I asked to talk to the nurse or the manager. She went back and said the nurse or manager they dont want to talk to you. I explained that I was still within the 15 minutes. And she said we got our rules that are different than the central office. There was nobody not even one person in the waiting room. Completely empty. Yet the doctor didnt want to see me. I felt very humiliated. The nurse didn't even want to take the time to come talk to me to hear my story or tell me why they cannot see me. Their time is worth a lot more than I do. Im basically a piece of dirt and not worth their time even though my wife is a PhD and a professor in northwestern university, my father is a PhD my sister is MD... If a doctors office does not consider you worthwhile to even talk to you, why would you trust them in doing surgeries on you? Later on the physician called me to explain to me that they like to enforce the rules on everybody. Even though I was still within the timeframe. I like to see a physician that treats me as a person worthwhile. You should have seen the look on his staff. Completely emotionless. As a human being. As someone who can understand the situation of a father trying to leave the house with two little boys. No Humanity here, just machines with strict rules.
