I spoke with Lyssabeth about an issue with my daughter. The initial call was over an hour, which she would later tell me that she should have charged me for. I asked how long the call would be before hand, and she said 15 minutes. At no time during the conversation did she say that the call was too long. I set up an appointment for my daughter. I had no idea that it was $150 for parent intake, and then an additional $150 for the actual appointment. The appointment was on a Wednesday. The Monday night prior, at exactly 7:41 PM, she sent me the intake paperwork showing that the parent intake was $150. That late at night, I dont check my emails as I get up very early in the morning. The next morning, on Tuesday, I cancelled the appointment. She blamed me for not cancelling in time, when she had sent the intake paperwork less than 2 days before the appointment, showing what the charges would be. I was charged the entire $150 when I tried to cancel the appointment over a day ahead of time. I honestly feel like the intake paperwork was purposely sent late, so that I could not argue with the charges. I never signed a credit card authorization, either. Everything was done over the phone.
