Melissa ignored my message after I told her I was experiencing a crisiscrying like I hadnt cried in a year and hanging on by a thread. I was severely depressed that my insomnia is so severe that I have to take sleeping pills that can cause dementia. Im already experiencing signnificant memory problems and told her I worried about losing my job as a result, and dying confused and alone. I have no family. I told her I had distressing experiences with mental health professionals in the past, including a therapist who ignored my messages about my psychiatric emergency. Melissa is a college professor and is apparently too busy and jaded to deal compassionately with people. Having a Ph.D doesnt make you a good therapist.
