1 went to the North Clinic and was told they couldn't test me for Covid as it hadn't been long enough, just isolate
2 went to Trempers Clinic 1 week later and saw a different provider who treated for nausea and headache because of so much pressure in my head
3 went back to Trempers Clinic a week after that and was seen by a student who finally figured out I had a sinus infection and got me on antibiotics. Miraculously when the correct thing was treated I got better. The student was supervised by this provider.
My employer requires the provider to fill out medical papers so the absences due to illness didn't count against me. Ive had this job 14 years and never had to use it before. Well this provider refused to sign the papers because you have chronic migraines. I have never had chronic migraines, the reason my head was hurting so bad was from what turned out to be the sinus infection. Then her excuse was well I only saw you twice. Ok so do the papers for those days so at least the majority of the absences are excused. She refused because she doesn't want to and had typed up a note. I have the note but my employer wont accept it because its not through their official leave provider Sedgwick. So basically this woman makes up random diagnoses and is so lazy and incompetent that she's ok with letting someone get fired due to illness absence that she physically saw proof of. By the time I got antibiotics I was to the point I could barely croak out words due to the post nasal drip making me hoarse. I will never go back to her and will continue to review her incompetence on every platform I can find.
