Ingredients:
Lean ground veal – 1.5 lb.
Canned black beans – 15 Oz
Large onion (diced) – 1
Carrots (diced) – 3
Large tomato (diced) – 1
Large bell pepper (diced) – 1
Garlic (finely chopped) – 3 cloves
Vegetable oil – 1-2 tbsp.
Chili powder, cumin, dried oregano, ground black pepper, salt – to taste
Step 1 Heat a large pot, grease it with vegetable oil and put the ground veal in it. Step 2 Sauté the meat over high heat until it is cooked through (approx. 7-10 mins). Stir periodically. Step 3 Reduce heat to medium and add onion, garlic, carrots, and spices. Cook for about 5 minutes while stirring. Step 4 Add beans, tomatoes, and bell pepper. Mix everything well and bring to boil and simmer for 20-25 minutes over low heat, stirring periodically. Once the chili is ready, serve hot an enjoy!
