When you’re not in the mood for meat, this filling and flavorful diabetic-friendly black bean burger comes to a rescue.
Step 1 Mash the beans with a fork until you get puree with pieces of beans. Step 2 Add salt and spices, then add flour. Mix well. Step 3 Divide the ready beans mass in two and shape the cutlets to the size of the buns. Step 4 Heat a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the cutlets on both sides for about 4 minutes, in a large amount of oil until crisp. Step 5 Gently transfer the cutlets to a paper towel to absorb the excess oil. Step 6 Mash the avocado with a fork until you get puree, add lemon juice, salt, and granulated garlic and onion. Step 7 Put the halves of the buns on the frying pan, on which you fried the cutlers. Warm the buns up until the they get crispy on the outside. Now, combine the burgers. Step 8 Put the spinach leaves and a couple of tomato slices on the bottom parts of the buns. Then put the cutlets on top, followed by the avocado puree. Step 9 Cover with the top of the bun, serve and enjoy!
