Meatloaf is a tasty and easy to cook dinner entrée for the whole family. Nutritious and diabetic-friendly, this can easily become one of your favorite dishes.
Ingredients:
Ground turkey – 0.7 lb.
Ground chicken breast – 0.7 lb.
Grated parmesan cheese – ¼ cup
Minced garlic – 3 cloves
Chicken egg – 1
Small onion (finely chopped) – 1
Oatmeal – ½ cup
ketchup – 1 cup
Balsamic vinegar – ¼ cup
Salt, ground black pepper, and Italian seasoning – to taste
Step 1 In a large bowl mix combine together the meat, egg, cheese, onion, garlic, oatmeal, salt pepper, and spices. Mix them thoroughly. Step 2 In another bowl, mix together the balsamic vinegar and ketchup. Add half of that mix into the large bowl with the meat and mix the content again. Step 3 Preheat oven to 410 F. Grease a loaf pan with vegetable oil. Place the meatloaf mix evenly into the loaf pan and then cover the meatloaf with the second half of the balsamic vinegar and ketchup mix. Step 4 Bake the meatloaf for about an hour, until internal temperature reaches 165 F. Step 5 Take the ready meatloaf out of the loaf pan, put on a serving place. Slice, serve and enjoy!
