Horrific. Dr. May Chiu was caring for my loved one and sincerely there was no care in her manner of providing medical care. If you want someone who will chastise you for things you havent done, jumping to conclusions about your life, aka thinking you are a drug addict or alcoholic, based on looking at the currently very sick individual in front of them, be my guest. If you want someone who will ignore your questions, cut you off when you are asking them, or in general be dismissive in every part of the interaction, be my guest. If you want someone who thinks they know more about everyhting than everyone in the room, including nutrition, which she clearly has not studied, be my guest, sign yourself up for her care. Each time Dr. Chiu has been in the hospital room, it has been heart-breakingly stressful for my loved one and we ve been left with the feelings of what just happened? and did she really say that? If you are assigned to her care, chose wisely. You have the right to have an MD who cares about you.
