Although this diabetic-friendly burger has no ketchup or mayo in it, it is still very juicy, tender and flavorful.
Step 1 Heat a tablespoon of olive oil in a frying pan, add the bell pepper and fry it until soft. When the pepper is almost ready, add the chopped onion. Step 2 Add wine vinegar and fry until the liquid evaporate. Then set the pepper aside. Step 3 Add salt and pepper to the minced meat and make cutlets with your hands according to the diameter of the buns. Fry the cutlet on both sides until golden brown and the juice becomes clear. Step 4 Put a slice of cheese on each ready cutlet and let it melt. Remove the cutlets from heat. Step 5 Put the halves of the buns on the frying pan on which you fried the cutlers. Warm the buns up until the they get crispy on the outside. Step 6 Place the bottom part of the buns on a plate, put the cutlets with cheese side down on the buns. Top with the fried peppers with onions. You can add fresh vegetables on top, such as tomatoes, onion, and herbs. Cover with the top part of the buns. Serve and enjoy!
