Recipe Details:
A turkey leg baked in the oven on garlic and onions turns out to be very tender, aromatic, and simply delicious. Serve this diabetic-friendly dish with any side of your choice.
Step 1 Chop off the bone so that it does not interfere with baking. Step 2 Make the marinade: Combine soy sauce, wine vinegar, mustard, vegetable oil, hot sauce, salt and pepper. Stir well until smooth. Step 3 Brush the leg with the just prepared marinade and leave for half an hour. Step 4 Put the chopped onion and garlic in a baking dish. Step 5 Preheat the oven to 355 F. Put the turkey leg in the baking dish, brush with the marinade again, cover with foil and bake for 1 hour. Step 6 Brush the turkey leg with the juice that has come out, cover with foil again and cook for 30 minutes. Then remove the foil, grease with the juices again and bake for 30 more minutes until golden brown. Serve hot and enjoy!
