Recipe Details:
These is a diabetic-friendly recipe for classic walnut brownies that are quick and easy to make and deliciously dense in texture and rich in flavor.
Ingredients:
Dark chocolate – 100 g
Butter – ¾ cup
Brown sugar flavored sweetener - equivalent to 1 cup of brown sugar
Step 1 Break the chocolate into small pieces and melt it together with butter in a water bath, stirring continuously with a wooden spoon or spatula. Remove the resulting thick chocolate mass from the water bath and let it cool. Step 2 While the chocolate mix is cooling off, mix the eggs with half of the sweetener. To do that, break the eggs into a separate bowl and beat by hand or with a mixer for at least 3 minutes, gradually adding the sweetener. Step 3 Chop the walnuts with a sharp knife on a cutting board. If you wish to add flavor, fry the nuts in a dry pan until the aroma appears. Step 4 In the cooled chocolate and butter mixture, carefully add the remaining sweetener, then add flour and chopped nuts and mix everything well with a whisk. Step 5 Add the eggs and sweetener mixture to the chocolate mass and mix thoroughly. The color of the dough should be uniform, without streaks. Step 6 Preheat oven to 400 F. Cover a small baking dish with baking paper, pour in the dough into it, place in the oven and bake for half an hour, until the crust appears. Step 7 Remove the ready cake from the oven, let it cool and cut into squares. Serve and enjoy!
