Recipe Details:
The celery and cucumber smoothie is very light, tasty, and fresh. It has many vitamins and is quite nutritious, while being low on calories. Preparing this diabetic-friendly drink is very quick simple. It can be made for breakfast or as a meal substitute. The taste of the smoothie depends on the taste of the apple – the sweeter the apple, the sweeter the drink.


Ingredients:
  • Celery (chopped) – 2 stalks
  • Cucumber (chopped) – 1
  • Apple (peeled and chopped) – 1
  • Parsley (chopped) – half a bunch
  • Lemon – juice from one half
  • Olive oil – 2 tbsp.
  • Water – 1 cup
  • Salt – 1 pinch
    Recipe Directions:
    Step 1
    Pup the chopped apple, cucumber, parsley, celery, lemon juice, olive oil, and salt in a blender bowl. Carefully add in water.
    Step 2
    Mix until smooth. If the smoothie gets too dense, add more water. Pour the ready drink into glasses, serve, and enjoy!
