Recipe Details:
This is a diabetic-friendly recipe for a cheeseburger enriched with sautéed champignon mushrooms. The dish is quick to cook and very delicious – a real treat for your family and guests!
Step 1 Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan and fry the onion until soft over high heat (about 2 minutes). Step 2 Sautee the mushrooms: Melt the butter in a frying pan over medium heat. Sauté mushrooms for about 3 minutes. Add garlic and thyme and sauté until mushrooms are soft (about 5 minutes). Season with salt and pepper if desired. Step 3 Pass the meat through a meat grinder. Combine meat and the fried onion. Add thyme and salt. Mix well. Form 5 meat patties from the mixture. Step 4 Cook the burgers in a frying pan, at full power, in vegetable oil, for about 5 minutes per side, until the meat juice is no longer pink. Step 5 After turning over the burgers, warm the buns on the frying pan, over medium heat, for a few minutes. Step 6 Remove the buns from the frying pan. Put the lettuce leaves on the bottom buns. Put the burgers on top. Then put the cheese, tomatoes, cucumbers, and sautéed mushrooms on top of the burgers. Cover with the top half of the bun. Enjoy!
