Recipe Details:
This is a recipe for a delightful and filling diabetic-friendly dish of traditional Hungarian cuisine featuring tender chicken in a rich and flavorful paprika sauce.
Step 1 Cut the chicken into small pieces. Mix 2 tbsp. of flour and a pinch of salt and pepper, and then powder the chicken pieces with this mixture. Step 2 In saucepan with thick walls, heat the butter and vegetable oil, put in the chicken and fry until golden brown. Then put the chicken in a clean dish. Step 3 In the saucepan in which the chicken was fried, fry the onion until transparent, adding a little vegetable oil. Then add the garlic, bell pepper, and paprika. Fry for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Step 4 Add tomato paste, pour in the chicken broth and stir well. Return the chicken to the saucepan, cover and cook for half an hour over low heat. Step 5 Mix 1 tbsp. of flour, sour cream, and a little broth from the saucepan. Pour this mixture into the saucepan with the chicken, season with salt and pepper and cook, covered, for 10 more minutes. Serve and enjoy!
