My mother has eye disease related to diabetes. After her eyes have been bothering her for a while and her vision was decreasing, she went to a few regular eye doctors without getting a resolution. She was finally referred to a medical doctor who specializes in eye diseases, an ophthalmologist, named Dr. Scott. Dr. Scott works with another doctor named Dr. Schier who is also treats my mother and is very good as well. A few weeks ago, my mom had eye surgery on a Friday and Dr. Scott called her on Sunday. I was initially worried when I heard that her doctor had reached out to her on a weekend because a doctor reaching out on a day the office isnt open usually is foreboding so I was pleasantly surprised to hear it was a wellness check and a reminder to keep her post surgical appointment tomorrow, being delivered personally from her doctor!
