Step 1 Wash and dry the tomatoes and cut them in half. Step 2 Add a pinch of sea salt to each tomato half. Step 3 Drizzle the tomatoes with olive oil. Step 4 Preheat oven to 215 F and bake the tomatoes for 5 hours. Step 5 Remove the tomatoes from the heat and let them cool. Step 6 Put the tomatoes in a glass jars (pour boiling water over the glass before putting the tomatoes in the jar). Sprinkle the tomatoes with Italian herbs. Step 7 Pour the olive oil into the jar to cover the tomatoes.
