I am diabetic and most doctors I met told me not to have foot surgery unless I was in terrible pain and couldnt walk anymore. I was living with a painful corn on the bottom of foot which felt like I was walking on a pebble and a painful corn on my pinky toe. For years my podiatrist would have me come to the office every 6 weeks or so to cut my painful corns away. I did feel plenty of relief for a few weeks but the corns and pain always returned. A parent from my sons school told me to see Dr. Kirell and he told me that my diabetes was not a contraindication to his surgeries. I went for surgery in his office and had a couple of tiny holes made in my skin with a dentists drill and now my corns are gone for good! I told my internist what was done and even she was amazed. My suffering has ended!

I had a great surgical experience with Dr. Kirell. What i liked best was that the surgery was done in his office and I didn’t need general anesthesia. He fixed my bunion and hammertoe without any incisions and didn’t need to put any screws or pins in my bones. His office was extremely clean and had a wonderful, helpful staff. I had very little pain after the surgery, went back to work soon after and was able to drive within a couple of days. If you don’t want to get cut up in order to have your bunions removed then this surgeon is the person to see. Great experience!
