This recipe give you a great way to enjoy a delicious diabetic-friendly plant-based meal that also perfectly fits vegetarian and vegan diet. These burgers taste best when cooked on a grill. They can be made with many different toppings and combined well with salads.
Step 1 Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan and fry the chopped mushrooms, onion, and minced garlic until brown (about 5 minutes). Step 2 Grind the chickpeas in a blender until smooth, then add tabasco and soy sauce. Mix well. Step 3 Add the content of the frying pan to the chickpea mixture and mix again. Step 4 Make 4 burgers from the resulting mixture and fry them in a frying pan until brown. Step 5 Warm the buns in the frying pan, over medium heat, for a few minutes. Step 6 Make the burgers with toppings of your choice (such as lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, pickles, onions, Greek yogurt, mozzarella cheese, Cheddar cheese, etc.) Serve and enjoy!
